Get Adobe AcrobatComplaints may be filed by employment applicants, faculty, students, staff, and participants in university programs or services who feel they may have been discriminated against on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, disability, genetic information, or protected veterans status. Complaints of retaliation may also be filed with the Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action (OEO/AA). OEO/AA may use a variety of solutions to address complaints. Read about possible solutions here. Some incidents may not be related to protected class discrimination, but are abusive nonetheless. If this is the case, individuals may consider filing an Abusive Conduct Complaint with Human Resources.

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action will review all complaints filed with our office. Please clearly state the reasons that you believe you have been subjected to discriminatory treatment, including sexual misconduct. Complaints that fail to state a claim of discriminatory treatment may be dismissed.
